Kind Words From Our Friends

Aeris

To call Yagé- Ayahuasca- simply a psychedelic is to do the Medicine a shallow disservice. The Medicine is many things but at the crux I believe it to be an event in time over anything else. The true Medicine is a dramatic shift in a person’s paradigm resulting in new life; the cleansing and burning of the old- concurrent to the scraping and polishing of the human heart.

Caterpillars spin cocoons- we step foot inside Malocas- both are dissolved and reforged in a deep and spiritual unfolding. A container exists where you may arrive as you are: worn, weary, tattered, broken- nervous, uncertain… a place where you are allotted the opportunity to be in direct conversation with God, with Source, with Divinity, with your own humble sliver of the Universe; and within this container a metamorphosis takes place in ways that words will never capture but will also never need to be said- it will be knowing, a gnosis-

“This is Medicine.”

To sit with the Medicine, to do the work, is to commit to real change; you receive what you give. The Medicine will assist you in giving all that you can so that you may receive everything that you need. The Maloca is the sacred place for this exchange: the Taitas of the Siona are the gatekeepers of the Medicine within the Maloca just as Shawn and Abigail are the Guides who will help to prepare you for your pilgrimage to the heels of the blessed brew that will take you to exactly where you need to be.

As I spoke into every cup…

“Be strong, you will be safe.”

“Be brave and you will be rewarded.”

“Be compassionate, the Medicine is wise.”

Thank you Shawn. Thank you Abigail. Thank you Native Guides ~ Thank you to the Taitas of the Siona and from the bottom of every cup of grace offered to me in ceremony ~ Surupa
